Twliight Saga

Have you ever been into something so much that it emcompasses your thoughts in Everything you do? You analize it against all else. Well, that would be me as of late. My mom introduced me to the book Twilight about three weeks ago and sent me the three books out by Stephenie Meyer. It is a series of books about a human girl, Bella and a vampire, Edward. The author graduated from BYU, is a member of the church and the books are Great! If you haven't read them, you should! It is a fun read and I never imagined that vampires could be so cool. I am more the Jane Austen type reader, but I have now broadened my scope! The last and final book comes out August 2nd and I am finding it very difficult to wait that long, so I started over again with book 1 and will see what a missed the first time I read through them. The movie, based up the first book, will come out in December! It will be a great year for movies with Harry Potter #6, Twilight and don't forget about Indiana Jones in May. Holy Cow! I don't normally get so excited, but how fun to look forward to!

I had to MAKE myself not read them until I could find a day where I could ignore the world long enough to finish it, because once I start, I cannot put it down. Steve, Me, Kayla and Sienna are all anxiously awaiting the next installment. (and all of us have theories of what will happen next!)

That is so funny. I have heard so many people talk about these books and I have all three sitting on my nightstand. I'm too afraid to start because I'm a junkie when it comes to reading. I am waiting for a long car ride to start or a trip to my in laws house in Utah (did I just say that?) Stephanie Meyers is in a group called ANWA, for LDS women writers. I too, am in the group, just not in her chapter. I hope to run into her one of these days though. She's always doing book signings in the Phoenix valley.

Jane Austen meets Count Dracula. Edward should just drink all her blood and get it over with. Isn't it ironic a Mormon is writing a book about vampires? This is a new twist on "eternal marriage" that I wasn't familiar with. Bah humbug!!

OK, it took me 9 hours total and I am dying to find 9 more hours to read the next one. My house is going to pot.

Hey Kath: The movie comes out the first part of December! My Britt has read the series at least 10 times! All the girls in Orlando will be going on Opening Night.

So fun to see that you like so many of the same things as our family. So we'd probably like these Twilight books, too. Queremos a la Familia Schmidt!
