Yesterday, after school, I was finally relaxing after working through three kids homework assignments, signing folders, analizing school pictures that had come from school that day, getting everyone a light snack, making some phone calls about the Children's choir for Stake Conference, organizing practices for basketball tournaments this weekend . I decided I just needed to rest my feet for one brief moment. In that ONE BRIEF moment, Andrew comes up to me and says, "Mom, didn't you know that I was made to Eat instead of just sitting around and playing my DS? I believe Andrew was trying to say that it was time for dinner. Well, another day, right? That one question says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hence my big bowl of fruit on the counter and huge drawer of granola bars. I have learned to smile and say--"I am SO glad you are hungry--the fruit and granola bars were just telling me how neglected they feel" . . . :)
